Grand Exalted Ruler, Grand Patriarch, Chief Executive Officer
In 1983 Brother Polk became a member of James H. Hayes Lodge #529 in Vienna, Virginia, where he was elected and served as Exalted Ruler in 2011 and until his recent election nationally to the office of Grand Exalted Ruler. From 1990 through 1996, Brother Polk was elected and served as Chairman, Virginia State Association IBPOEW Auditors where he successfully updated and digitized all financial records, bookkeeping, and accounting. In 1996 he was elected as State President of the Virginia State Association IBPOEW, becoming the youngest State President in Elkdom. He was re-elected for seven consecutive terms and served from 1996 –2010.
Brother Polk previously earned the degree of Past Grand Exalted Ruler and also served as Acting National Legal Coordinator to the Grand Lodge IBPOEW. Brother Polk was elected and served as Grand Esteemed Lecturing Knight from 2008 - 2010, Grand Esteemed Loyal Knight from 2010 - 2014, and Grand Esteemed Leading Knight from 2014 - 2018. Brother Polk was elected Grand Exalted Ruler in August 2018 and is currently serving in that capacity. Brother Polk's other Grand Lodge service positions include the following:

Grand Daughter Ruler
Daughter Margaret Delores Scott has been a loyal and dedicated member of the Daughters of Elks since 1957. She began as a charter member of Lt. John Perrin Temple #1056 in Newark, New Jersey, where she held the position of Financial Secretary for more than 40 years and also served as Daughter Ruler. In 2008, Daughter Scott transferred to Bethune Temple #572 of Vauxhall, New Jersey.
Over the years, she served in various capacities and remains actively involved with the New Jersey State Daughters of Elks, the Past Daughter Rulers Council of Northern New Jersey, the Past Grand Daughter Rulers Circle of New Jersey, the New Jersey Past State Presidents Club, the Antlered Guard Department and several other affiliated groups and clubs. These activities are just some of the ways she continues to show her commitment to the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World.
In the Grand Temple, Daughter Scott started at the Gate and faithfully served almost every station up to the current station of Grand Daughter Ruler. She has established an excellent record of dedicated service within the organization. She is presently serving her 17th year as Grand Daughter Ruler. Under her administration various departments have been created and implemented. Also under her leadership, the former Grand Temple headquarters was sold and a new building was purchased.
