IBPOEW Local Lodges and Temples serve to provide charitable services, local student aid and scholarship opportunities, veterans support, senior assistance, at-risk family assistance, and promote youth activities in our communities.

The Lodges and Temples are led by an Exalted Ruler and Daughter Ruler, respectively.  They lead the Lodges and Temples within the State Associations while following their approved by-laws, along with the by-laws and Constitution of our parent organization, the Improved, Benevolent, and Protective Order of Elks of the World (IBPOEW).  Under their leadership, all Elks shall show truth in all activities and live to help others, while Promoting  Brotherly and Sisterly Love to all.  The Lodges and Temples are a place where Elks meet and conduct their business to aid their local communities.
